Skills profile
Transfer expertise
The model of the skills profile is that of generalist; not specialist. The program focusses on developing interface and transfer expertise. The graduates will be able to:
- integrate the fundamentals, assumptions, methods and perspectives of a variety of technical disciplines,
- produce estimates for markets, social developments and projects according to accepted scientific methods as well as
- theoretically and analytically orientate themselves around the complex interdisciplinary work and research fields of Real Estate Management,
- carry out the transfer of theory into practice and vice versa.
Interface competence
The outstanding knowledge of Real Estate-related technical disciplines, which the graduates possess, does not merely qualify them to undertake complex interdisciplinary tasks; but rather they can also:
- recognize the rationality, range and various "cultures" of their own and other technical disciplines and advise accordingly,
- identify the starting points ("interfaces") that will lead to an agreement,
- communicate work-related matters across disciplines,
- initiate, organize, guide, monitor and successfully complete projects and
- display a certain entrepreneurial flair.
Social competence and self competence
Team ability, media skills, as well as communication-, presentation- and conflict-solving strategies will be gained or sharpened through the intensive study project.
